Porsche 911 Black, Limited Edition

Black. Strictly speaking, black isn’t a color at all. It is, in fact, the absence of all color, of light and, indeed, of anything else. Black does not reveal all, but keeps the most important things under wraps. It has an allure epitomized by the legendary ‘little black dress’. Quite simply, it symbolizes the power of attraction. The 911 Black Edition will be  limited to 1,911 vehicles and it consists of  both Coupe and Cabriolet versions of the 911, “blacked out” in both exterior paint job and interior appointments. Added are sports design steering wheel, 19-inch wheels found on 911 Turbo II, and a special emblem on the dashboard marking the edition. Under the hood, you will find the same 345 horsepower, 3.6 liter engine, able to reach 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds. Limited to only 1,911 units, the Porsche 911 Carrea Black Edition will be available in April 2011 at the same cost of a basic model.
